Ramchand, a UK citizen, is a globally recognized biotech entrepreneur, research scientist, and educator with over 45 years of leadership in drug discovery, molecular biology, neuroscience, nanotechnology, and translational medicine. He is the co-founder & CEO of MagGenome and has earlier led multiple life sciences companies. He has held leadership roles in Sun Pharmaceuticals as Vice President and Head of Drug Discovery and in Kemin Industries as worldwide executive director. He has authored 100+ publications, holds 50+ patents on 200+ biopharma and pharma NCEs and formulations, nutraceuticals, and medical diagnostics. Among many distinctions, he received the Kerala Academy of Sciences Fellowship of Honoris Causa Award from the Governor of Kerala.
